COVID-19 Protocols for the Economic Forecast in Chapman University’s Musco Center for the Arts

The State of California is anticipating a significant reduction in state mandated COVID-19 protocols beginning June 15, 2021. With that, Chapman University is expecting to also lessen the protocols in the Musco Center for the Arts during the Economic Forecast June 16th event. If the requirements are lifted before the event, the following protocols will be in place:

  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have come in contact with someone who has or is suspected of having COVID-19, or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees F (or 38 C) or greater, we ask that you not attend the event.
  • Physical distancing will not be required, but it will be offered for those who choose it.
  • The wearing of face coverings indoors will not be required; however, it will be recommended.
  • For those who have not completed a COVID-19 vaccination, we ask that face coverings be worn throughout the indoor event and physical distancing is requested. You are considered fully vaccinated after two weeks have passed, following the second dose of a two-dose series (such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines) or a single-dose series (such as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

If the state restrictions remain in place, Chapman will follow the current protocols required by state and local health agencies. Individuals should bring a face covering to the Musco Center in the event we must require it. If needed, a face covering can be provided.
